Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m)

Today, you arrive at the capital of the beautiful country of Nepal, Kathmandu. Kathmandu is not just the geographic but also the industrial as well as economic capital of Nepal. Sure to its name and fame, Kathmandu is home to the best architectural delights worth exploring. Today, upon reaching, we will be transferred to the hotel and we have the opportunities to either explore the surrounding areas in peace or stroll around the streets of the hotel. Also included are the opportunity to taste the unique cuisine that Nepal is so famous for.

 

Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu

Kathmandu is home to several UNESCO World heritage sites. The Kathmandu Valley I divided into three regions, mainly the Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur. Each of these cities has its own King’s Square or the Durbar Square which was the previous places of the inherent kings residing in the three kingdoms. It is highly recommended to visit all of the three squares in leisure filled day, in order to explore the inscribed patterns and the perfect looking architectural and handmade designs that were made in the past era. Marvel on the inscriptions, temples, and pagodas and immerse yourself in the architectural expertise and beauty that people of Nepal possess.

Day 3: Kathmandu- Lukla- Phakding(1300m- 2804m-2610)

Today we fly!! The plane trip from Kathmandu to Lukla is considered to be one of the most scenic flights in the history of Nepal. You will be awarded the views of the glistening peaks in the Everest region on a nice sunny day. The marvelous views are surely set to make you more interested about the upcoming trek. The adventurous flight is certainly one in a million and this will surely ensure that you are left reeling in delight and pleasure.

We also start off our trek today, after reaching the entry point to the Everest region of Nepal. After leading our trekking equipment, we will walk off to the Sherpa village of Phakdinf. We will be passing along the main trail to Namche Bazaar, via the Chaurnikharka. The trek is moderately easy. After passing through the village of Chat, a short trek will bring us to Phakding where we spend the night. 45 minutes flight and 3 hours trek.

Day 4: Phakding- Namche Bazaar (2804m- 3441m)

Today, we will continue our trek with anticipation for a new day and new appearances. We will cross the banks of the Dudh Koshi river, roaring beside us and make our way through suspension bridges. Buddhist prayer flags of different colors adorn the trail. We will be entering the premises of the Sagarmatha National Park today. The trail now climbs steeply upwards, taking us o the entry point to the Everest, Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is equipped with all the modern facilities, yet with a unique Nepali way. Day 5: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar

To ensure the absence of Altitude Sickness, we will be acclimatizing at Namche Bazaar today. It is advised to keep oneself active throughout the day, Namche Bazaar was once an ancient trade route to Tibet.

We have the options to either trek to the mountaineering museum situated in Namche, showcasing everything there is to know about mountaineering or to hike up to Syangboche. Syangboche is a viewpoint, offering the views of the massive peaks including the likes of Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu as well as the famous Everest.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar- Phorste Tanga (3441m- 3680m)

Today’s trek is a steep one for sure. We will be along the dense forests of juniper, rhododendron, and other coniferous plants. The elevation increases steeply as we pass through Yak Kharka. At the spring time, the blossoming rhododendron will give the entire trekking trail an unparalleled beauty, which is incomparable to any. Through several summer settlements and the views of the Tawache as well as the might Khumbu La, we will be reaching the Phorste Thanga. Day 7: Phorste Tanga- Maccherma (3680m- 4470m)

The destination for our trek today is Maccherma. For this, we will start an early morning trek up Kengtega to the Cho Oyu valley. The excellent views all along the way will keep our mind occupied so you don’t feel tired. After descending down to a river below, the trail climbs upwards again to a Lorraine on which is situated the Ngozumpa glacier. Upon viewing the mystical glacier, we will move upwards to reach Maccherma. 5 hours trek.

Day 8: Macchermo- Gokyo (4470m- 4790m)

Today we reach the entry point of the awesome Gokyo Valley. We will be passing through suspension bridges, amalgamated with the views of the pristine  mountain peaks of the Khumbu region in an attempt to reach Gokyo. Gokyo is a village which offers the exclusive views of the perfect looking white and tall peaks like the Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and much more. 5-6 hours trek.

Day 9: Gokyo-Gokyo Ri (4790m- 5483 m)

Today, we climb the famous viewpoint of Gokyo Ri. The Gokyo Ri is situated at the elevation of 5480 m. stunning views of the extremely beautiful Gokyo Valley is also included along with the glimpses of the massive Ngozumpa glacier and its majestic beauty. Panorama of the entire Himalayan range of the Everest region, including Nuptse, Lhotse, Everest, Cho Oyu, Gychung Kang and Makalu, is surely set to leave you in delight and happiness. The views are worth remembering for a lifetime and the views that Gokyo Ri provides is worth all the trouble taken to embark on this thrilling trek. 4-5 hours trek.

Day 10: Gokyo Ri- Dole (5483m- 4790m)

Today we trek through several forests and bridges, to reach the village of Dole where we spend the night in the memory of the extremely beautiful views that we have seen along the way.3-4 hours trek.

Day 11: Dole- Khumjung- Namche Bazaar(4790m- 3780m)

We will return back to where we came from, Namche Bazaar, via the village of Khumjung, bidding farewell to the mountainous peaks is never easy but we do so never the less, in an attempt to come back for more. 4-5 hours trek.

Day 12: Namche Bazaar- Lukla (3780m- 2804m)

Following the path, we return back to Lukla through Phakding today

Day 13: Lukla- Kathmandu

Today, we will bid farewell to Lukla, and leave behind the mountains and its impressive stance as we take off on a flight back to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can buy souvenirs for people back home and relish the exquisite Nepali cuisine in peace nad happiness.

Day 15: Departure

Depart back to your respective hometowns with a promise to come back for more whenever possible.
